NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER 2009, Please read carefully, especially exam students.

Great achievements:

Congratulations to: Charlie Day, Sarah Corke, Tim Raison, Isabel White and Jessica Paris for performing so well in the English Youth ballets production of “ Giselle “at the Kings theatre in South sea recently. Well done.

Congratulations also to Alex and Oliver Mitchell for performing “Cinderella” and “Ship Ahoy” at Saddlers Wells theatre in London choreographed by Wayne Sleep and for having just got through the first auditions for the London Children’s Ballet company.

All of the above children auditioned against hundreds of other children to gain their places so we are very proud of them.

Ballet exams, IMPORTANT INFORMATION, PLEASE READ!

All exam fees are now due; please let me know immediately if your child will not be taking exams as a time table needs to be produced very soon.

All exam children are working very hard, please maintain excellent attendance to keep exam standards, failure to do this will unfortunately illuminate children from exams.( ballet exams cannot be crammed for revision, they are a regular training programme to shape body and mind)

February 27 and 28 has been requested to the ISTD, still to be confirmed. Please make sure you are free on these dates.

*BALLET CD EXAM DANCE MUSIC AVAILABLE £1 PER CD, ASK REBECCA.

Additional Exam Private Ballet Classes ( £12.50 1-2-1 £10 joint share each) Also mock exam dates.

Classes are available Tuesday December 15 th 4-7pm

Saturday 19 th December 9am-1pm.

Please book early to avoid disappointment, a good idea is to book a session with your child’s exam partner as it is good to practice with them.

Sunday January, 2,10,17 and 31st- 9am-12pm

February 18th-9am-12pm

Christmas Trip to the Snowman

I would like to give a huge thank you to Sian Spencer for organising the coach for most of you, it turned out to be time consuming and I know you are all grateful.

Progression

I am always assessing my classes and as some of you know, many children have moved up classes in ballet, tap and street, well done to all of you, I hope you are enjoying your new classes and challenges.

Polite Reminder

Please ensure punctuality is maintained as children need to be warmed up at the start of lessons and that uniform and hair are kept to high standards.
