Andrew Wilson visits the Academy
On Sunday 9th October Mr Andrew Wilson came to the Academy and gave extra examination technique workshops for the students. He is a former Royal Ballet soloist and is currently head of ballet at the prestigious Bird College as well as being an established I.S.T.D. Examiner. He spent the day tutoring students from Grade 3 through to Advanced 1.
The whole experience was well received by students and parents, especially Charlie and Tim who gained valuable ‘boys’ coaching tips.
“Thank you for the great experience” - Sarah Corke aged 12.
Mr Wilson enjoyed the workshops too and has offered to visit the Academy again.
“The children responded so positively and took on board corrections. I really enjoyed the day and would love to help out again in any way possible should you need me in the future” - Andrew Wilson
